To raise awareness of the global water crisis and support our H2O For Life-Water For South Sudan project, SJHS broke the Guinness World Record for the “Most People Carrying Water Jugs On Their Heads” on Tuesday, May 20th.

Each student brought a new, sealed, 1 gallon jug of water to their Hour 6 class. Students and staff then carried the jug of water on their heads (hands allowed!) for 328 feet (100 meters) on the SJHS track. Jugs were donated to the local foodshelf, Valley Outreach, after the event. Treats were generously provided by the Stillwater Dairy Queen and a SJHS family.
